Initiatives
Blue Sky is a Venture Philanthropy Foundation. We recognize that in order to see genuine change, traditional philanthropy (i.e. grants and give-away relief efforts) are not able to fully resolve the global (and local) crisis that exists. We seek to combine the best of charity and the best of creative market solutions to alleviate the negative grip of poverty around the world.
Globally, we work in areas with the greatest potential for impact and work closely with our partners to support innovative approaches.
Locally, we focus on nonprofit organizations that can best identify and serve the needs of low-income children and families. We help these organizations serve more people, build organizational strength, and improve their programs.
